Introduction:

It is recognized that to satisfy ICAO requirements arising from the Global ATM Operational Concept, aeronautical information services (AIS) must transition to the broader concept of aeronautical information management (AIM) Where The data-centric environment is clearly defined and managed to enable providing accredited, timely, quality-assured information necessary to support flight operations in ATM environment.

How will I benefit:

This course will give participants a comprehensive overview and understanding of aeronautical information management and they will be able to drive the transition processes in terms of assessment, recommendation, planning, implementation, and overseeing.

• State regulatory organizations dealing with the safety oversight aspects of AIS;
• Management personnel of  providers tasked with setting up, organizing, and managing the operations of AIS; and
• Management of aeronautical data originator organizations tasked with providing the aeronautical data and aeronautical information to the AIS providers.
