Introduction:

This course aims to provide Aerodrome Rescue and Fire Fighting Services (ARFFS) personnel with the Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes required to establish and implement an airport emergency plan in accordance with ICAO standards.

Identify the essential elements of the Airport Emergency Plan and ARFFS standards. Understand the environment of ATS services in the vicinity of the airport. Recognize the importance of coordination in emergency response as aligned with ICAO standards. Learn about airport emergency exercises, scenarios, and tower control emergency checklists.
