• Aircraft performance: Effects of frost on lift, stall and drag.
• Critical surfaces: Wings, tail section and horizontal stabilizer.
• Weather: Terminology, Ice formation, Areas of ice build-up and Hazards of ice on aeroplane       
• De-Icing/Anti-Icing Fluids:De-icing fluids, Holdover time, Non-thickened fluids, Thickened fluids and Pumping and heating     
• Fluids checks: Compatibility, other tests, handling and storage
• De-icing/anti-icing procedures
