• It provides them with the knowledge and skills necessary to work with aviation meteorological equipment.

This course is beneficial to engineering personnel from civil aviation administrations, service providers and maintenance organizations whose roles are to manage and maintain CNS/ATM systems.

• Meteorological systems:
  • Weather display and information systems, wind speed (anemometer), wind direction (weather vane), visibility (types of IRVR, forward scatter), temperature probes, pressure (aneroid barometers), humidity, cloud base (laser ceilometers)
• Measurement systems used in aviation and weather prediction
