Introduction:
- A comprehensive and engaging 5-days aviation law course intended for non-lawyers that covers the most principal legal aspects of international aviation, including the principles and main conventions, Freedoms of the Air, ICAO’s technical regulations, Air Carrier’s liability, Criminal Aviation Law, Consumer Protection, Regulations regarding Aircrafts, Airline Cooperation for Route Expansion and Development, Procedures and Permits, as well as the Environment Sector’s relationship with the Aviation Industry, and the threats and challenges it faces in general.

- Settlement of disputes in Public International Aviation Law;
- Freedoms of the Air and Open Skies Agreements;
- Yamoussoukro Declaration 1999 and similar economic practices including EU Air Transport Policies;
- Technical Regulations (ICAO Annexes) focusing on the Safety and Security Annexes;
- Liability in Private International Aviation Law and Third Party Liability;
- Aircrafts: Nationality, Conditions, Transfer of State of Registration Duties, Recognition of Rights on Aircrafts;
- Basic principles of contract law; Aviation contracts; Contract lifecycle with a focus on drafting and negotiation, Essential requirements, Contracting process;
- Risk management; Regulatory Framework for Network Expansion; Legal and Operational Considerations for Network Expansion;
- Airline cooperation for route expansion and development, including Code sharing, interlining and leasing, etc;
- Procedures and permits, including Overflight permit and charges, Air operator permit, Crew and landing permit, Securing airport slots, Ground services agreements;
- Airline network planning and optimization; Emerging trends and challenges in Network Expansion;
